Preservation In Trouble

Trouble is a part of everyone's lives. We as believers are not immune to adversity. Sickness, job loss, divorce, loved one's dying, crime against us or a family member the list can go on and on. But where should we go when we are troubled? To the LORD Jesus Christ, for He is the first person we should seek. It is a comfort to have friends and family tell you they are praying for you and offer words that are kind. But the kindest words we can hear are I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee which is mentioned by our LORD in Hebrews 13:5

Let us focus on this Scripture: For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 Let us look at the next verse. Psalm 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy, I will sing, yea I will sing praises unto the LORD. When we praise the LORD He is glorified and that is most important for us when we are going through difficulties.

When I can trust my all with God,

In trials fearful hour-

Bow, all resign'd beneath his rod,

And bless his sparing power;

A joy springs up amid distress,

A fountain in the wilderness.
