We must never forget this day 20 years ago. I remember where I was, as I am sure you do as well. I am still in horror at the fact that so many lives were lost. Moms and dads, sisters and brothers; the list goes on. 

I would like to pray:

Father God, thank You for this day of remembrance. I am thankful for the people who went to help others and thought nothing of their own safety. May they be remembered always and treasured as the people they were. May the families of those that passed be comforted in that fact and treasure all the memories of their loved ones. Draw hearts to Thee oh Father in the dark days we remember and any dark days ahead. I ask Thee dear LORD to help us to be kinder and gentler to each other. Resting in Thee as the source of all comfort. May this drive us to be thankful for those in our lives. May we be revived as a nation and as a people with this common thread. Thank You for keeping us from dangers seen and unseen Father. Please allow our lives henceforth to be surrendered to Thee and give You glory. We love You LORD and we are humbly thankful for Thy provision, and protection. Thy grace and mercy. Mostly, Oh Father, we are thankful for Thy only begotten Son Jesus Christ who was sent to die for our redemption. May we reflect on this today and every day. In Jesus Christ's Perfect Name, we pray and ask these things, Amen.
