“Love, Momma D”— a collection of Darla’s (aka, Momma D) most popular parenting lessons and stories that teach parents to parent from the heart with unconditional love.
Parenting is about so much more than diapers, skinned knees, homework and curfews. Parenting is about being present; listening, talking, forgiving, asking for forgiveness and most of all, loving with that unconditional “just because you’re you” kind of love.
Momma D, aka, Darla Noble, understands the joys and stresses of parenting and has years of experience as a mom and nanna to help you and your children enjoy (almost) every moment of every day. So whether you are looking for ways to help build your child’s sense of self-worth, solutions to issues with school, sibling rivalry, or just good common sense on how to teach those all-important life-lessons we all need to learn, Momma D is here for you.
Love, Momma D is a book filled with the wit and wisdom every parent needs to be able to get to the heart of parenting from the heart.
Darla Noble has been writing inspirational nonfiction, historical nonfiction, memoirs, Bible studies, parenting/family resources, and curriculum for over twenty-eight years. Darla’s popularity as an author, ghostwriter, and speaker come from her ability to entertain, encourage and educate through storytelling and practical advice.
Darla’s faith, wit, and wisdom are enjoyed by readers across the United States, the UK, Australia, the Philippines, South Africa, and Canada. In addition to speaking to students and various other organizations, Darla does a great deal of freelance work and ghostwriting, as well as writing the faith-based and “Momma D” columns for the “Phelps County Focus” newspaper.
Darla and her husband John have been married for thirty-nine years, are the parents of four grown children, four children in-law, and seven adorable grandchildren. When Darla is not writing or speaking, she enjoys raising vegetables and flowers, camping, spending time with her family and friends, and hanging out with her miniature dachshund, Charlotte. She is also the ‘voice’ of Gasconade Christian Service Camp, which is just a fancy way of saying she is in charge of promoting the camp via social media and newsletters. Darla is an active member of Glendale Christian Church, where she helps with MOPS, leads a small-group Bible study and is involved in a lady’s Bible study group.
