When you pray to the Lord God almighty in the name of Jesus Christ, which is how God created humanity to pray, as we can only have a relationship with God the Father through Jesus His only begotten Son who died on the cross for us and was raised from the dead, there is a grave danger when it comes to prayer about which I warn you as I am compelled by the Holy Spirit of God to do.
DO NOT FORGET TO WAIT.
When we pray for God’s will, when we pray for wisdom from Him, which He promises to give us when we ask Him in faith, WE NEED TO WAIT FOR HIM TO ANSWER.
Our pride may tell us we know better than God and should go forward without waiting. Our fear may tell us He may never answer. Our impatience may tell us we shouldn’t have to wait but should rush ahead. Our worry may tell us we may miss out on something if we wait on God. Our hurt and bitterness may tell us we have suffered enough in life and should go ahead with our own will. This is all SIN AGAINST GOD and must be repented of.
Friend, I lovingly albeit strongly warn you. PRAY TO GOD. WAIT ON GOD. HEAR GOD. OBEY GOD. FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. Draw close to Him, cry out to Him, praise Him, worship Him, love Him with every ounce of your heart, serve Him, pray to Him, seek Him, wait on Him – and, when He answers, follow the Lord Jesus Christ forth in the strength of Christ for the glory of Christ, hallelujah, AMEN!
Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, live for Jesus Christ as Lord, be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit of God, dear believer, and follow Jesus Christ as Lord this day and forevermore, AMEN!
