Glory Of God

1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

In our lives as Christians everything we seek to do must bring glory to God. When we drink, eat and work, play and interact with others we must think about how this is glorifying Jesus Christ. As far as in drinking we must drink things that are pleasing to God. We must not drink strong drink. We must remember what is says in the Book of Proverbs Chapter 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

As far as eating we must not be gluttonous Philippians 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. I had an issue with this in my life and seeking the LORD in helping me to lose weight, eat healthier and glorify HIM in this.

When we have jobs either inside the home or outside we must properly represent Jesus Christ and work to our best ability. Psalms 92:4  For Thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
